High-end local folk cuisine served in a contemporary, stylish setting with very reasonable pricing is what you'll find at Villa Khmer.

The restaurant was launched at the end of 2010 by partners, Sophea Touch and Siem Reap-based designer Theam, and this balconied restaurant/lounge/boutique offers a place to taste local northwest Cambodian dishes in a comfortable setting. There are such dishes as Eggplant with Shredded Pork, Green Mango Salad with Smoked Fish and Caramelized Stewed Snakehead with Quail Eggs, as well as a very inexpensive daily lunch buffet and a range of set menus.

The design of Villa Khmer is chic and stylish, outfitted in red and black with outdoor seating, an airy balcony and a small boutique selling Theam's designer products at the back.
