Just moments away from the Royal Palace, the National Museum provides a step through history into the Cambodia of yesteryear. The museum displays more than 5,000 objects including Angkorian statues and other artefacts, all housed in an open Cambodian style structure with a leafy courtyard in the centre. It also hosts performances of traditional Khmer arts in the evenings during peak season.
