LE MOON rooftop bar is delighted to announce that it will host a charity auction to raise funds for a local association, NACOPCA, on May 23rd, 2015, from 6:30pm.

LE MOON team has identified NACOPCA as a positive initiative towards vulnerable children and we decided to help raise funds for this small organization that is not benefiting from much media coverage.

NACOPCA, standing for National Action Culture for the Orphan Poor Children Association, is a housing organization that provides support to 30 children aged 5 to 18. It was established in 1999 by Mr Sou Savang (Joker) and Mrs Peng Phan, an actress well known for her roles in many of Rithy Phan's movies.
In addition to a decent housing and healthy meals, NACOPCA is providing these children with general education, English classes as well as Khmer performing arts programs. The children are trained to perform traditional and popular Khmer dances and musicians they regularly perform shows for tourists in order to find funds for their home.
The association is managed by a dedicated team of 8 workers and regularly welcomes volunteers.
Currently the association generates some revenueto sustain their action thanks to the performances they provide to tourist operators and for special parties.

During LE MOON Charity Auction Event, the NACOPCA children will perform 3 short shows of 15 minutes each to share with our guests their talents and their love for Cambodian performing arts.
Then, we will also conduct an auction sale with greatprizes offered by our generous partners. All the revenues of the auction will be given to the association.
In addition to the auction, we will give back 10% from our bar revenues of the night to NACOPCA.

The evening will go on with live music thanks to StephaneRoutier who generously agreed to come to play saxophone.
